Emerging market funds: New skills for new markets
Everyone at SW has worked with another member of the team at some point; in some cases their friendships and working relationships go back decades. For example, David Hinman first worked with SW’s CFO, Robert Venable, when they were both fund managers at Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco). Hinman worked for 10 years at Pimco, mostly in the US high-yield and global investment-grade markets. That was after leaving the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
