People moves: Barclays boost in Asia

Barclays Capital has hired Ivan Ferraroni as head of FX bank sales, Asia Pacific. He will be based in Singapore and report to Lutfey Siddiqi, head of FX distribution and corporate FX, Asia Pacific. Previously, Ferraroni was head of FX sales and trading at Royal Bank of Scotland Tokyo.

Barclays has also moved Eric Schatz from his role in New York to take on the newly created role of head of FX, Japan, and hired Toshimasa Fujii from Currenex as a director in FX
sales; Naomi Koyama joins from Merrill Lynch as a director in FX Sales responsible for real money in Tokyo; and Gaurav Tholia has joined in Singapore as a vice-president in charge of FX derivatives sales to banks and private banks (Asia ex-Japan) from JPMorgan.
