People moves: RBS outlines post ABN-Amro sales structure

RBS has revealed the structure of its FX and fixed-income sales management following the takeover of ABN Amro in an internal memo sent out by Brad Leek, the bank’s global head of fixed income, FX, and prime brokerage sales. “I am delighted to announce the future management team for our FX and local markets sales business covering global financial institutions (GFI),” Leek writes.

The appointments are as follows:

• Regional head of GFI FX and local markets sales, Americas: Craig Donaldson

Reporting to Craig as regional head of GFI local markets sales, Americas: tba

• Regional head of GFI FX and local markets sales, Asia: Nick Strain

Reporting to Nick as regional head of GFI local markets sales, Asia: Kenneth Lai

• Regional head of GFI FX sales, UK: Michael Walsh

• Regional head of GFI FX sales, Europe: Enrico Cassini

• Regional head of GFI local markets sales, UK, Europe & CEEMEA: Brian Perry

• Global head of bank FX sales: Stefano Lupi

• Global head of prime brokerage sales: tba

• Head of GFI risk advisory: Nick Greenland

• Global head of GFI and PB electronic markets sales: tba

Leek adds: “I would like to emphasize that these appointments represent the future management team for the combined global financial institutions FX and local markets sales and PB sales business, which will be created when we have obtained all the necessary regulatory approvals and completed all appropriate consultations. For the time being, there is no change to the existing organizational structure, reporting lines or responsibilities of the management of RBS GBM or ABN Amro in the relevant businesses. However, in addition to their line management responsibilities, the team listed above will immediately begin work to develop business and integration plans for their respective areas of responsibility.”
