FX people moves: JPM gets BoA veteran

JPMorgan has confirmed that it has hired Max Leffen, ending his 19-year stint at Bank of America, where he was a managing director in FX sales.

His new job, which starts in September after a summer of gardening leave, will be as a managing director in JPM’s FX hedge fund sales team. Leffen is the first to be named on a new desk called Market Access, which will focus on marketing an FX flow product to the investor franchise. Leffen will report to Andrew Simon, managing director and head of global client sales.
