FX Market round-up: CME to list RNB futures, options

The CME has announced plans to list futures and options on Chinese renminbi against the US dollar, euro and yen.

The contracts will trade exclusively on the exchange’s Globex platform and are due to be listed on August 27. The exchange says the move comes in recognition of the growing importance of China as a financial centre and will aid risk management for anyone with currency exposure to the company.
