McTamaney heads for Asia in Goldman reorganisation

Bobby McTamaney, co-head of global FX and emerging market trading at Goldman Sachs, is relocating from London to Tokyo to take up a new role as co-head of the bank’s pan-Asian securities business. According to an internal memo circulated last week, McTamaney will share responsibilities with Katsunori Sago, effective from January 1.

Sources say that the move is a major promotion for McTamaney, who joined Goldman in 1996 originally in New York.
