Ariel Sigal, chairman of Latin America at Deutsche Bank, left the bank at the end of January, and it’s far from clear whether he will return.
For the time being Sigal is not being replaced as chairman. His duties as head of Latin America client coverage are being split between Marcelo Blanco and Guillermo Navone. Both of them report to Pablo Calderini, the global head of emerging markets.
If Sigal’s client coverage job is being given to his former employees, his job as head of Latin America regional coverage is being taken over by his former bosses: Calderini and Seth Waugh, CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas.
