Global DCM deal count fell by 2% in 2004 but an increase in average deal size meant that deal volume increased slightly to $5.4 trillion compared to $5.2 trillion in 2003
Global DCM revenue increased to $17.1bn from $16.4 billion in 2003. IG debt issuance was once again the biggest driver in revenues accounting for 30% of global DCM revenue
Global ABS volume increased by 41% to $920.2 billion compared to 2003, accounting for 17% of Global DCM volume, the highest level on record.
