The latest spent almost 2.6 bn pesos in the purchase of variable income titles, through the so-called Foreign Investment Funds. According to the Colombian securities and exchange commission Superintendencia de Valores, until October 2005, foreign investment in the acquisition of public debt bonds surpassed 1 bn pesos.
