Mexican Pemex Jan-Oct 2005 Trade Surplus Record High at $18.275 Bln

Mexican state owned oil and gas company Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) posted a record high surplus from crude oil trade standing at $18.275 bln (15.5 bln euro) between January and October 2005, rising 20 pct year-on-year, the company said on November 20, 2005.

The exports of crude oil and derivatives totalled $26.02 bln (22.1 bln euro) in the period, while the imports totalled $7.745 bln (6.57 bln euro).

The exports value of Pemex over the period exceeded by $2.263
