Pemex announces USD 835 mln investments
Mexican state owned oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) announced investments of USD 835 million in the next years in the safety of its facilities, welfare system and environmental protection.Pemex invested USD 321 million this year in the revamp of its oil and gas pipelines. The company added that in the 2006-2008 period it will invest USD 514 million in maintenance, modernization and safety of its pipelines.
