Lloyds TSB has appointed Yuri Polyakov as its new head of risk solutions, reporting to Patrick Shone, head of structuring.
Polyakov is another to have left Barclays, London, most recently following the entire electronic algorithmic trading team, who left for UBS (Barclays loses a whole team to the Swiss).
Polyakov will be providing strategic finance and risk management advisory services in derivatives, including FX, interest rates and commodities.
Commenting on the new hire, Clare Francis, head of sales and derivatives structuring at Lloyds TSB, says: “I’m delighted Yuri will lead our Risk Solutions team.
