CLS reported a decline of average daily volumes in July, settling $3.93 trillion and 16.6 million instructions averaging at 754,780 instructions a day. In June volumes were $4.23 trillion.

However, July’s volumes are more in line with typical figures before May and June’s market volatility. July’s volumes are similar to April’s (Volumes: Icap ahead; CLS has more sides) when there were average daily volumes of $3.99 trillion and 727,956 instructions were settled.
