State Street has appointed Sam Cole as executive vice-president and deputy head of State Street’s ‘e-Exchange’ business, which provides trading solutions for FX, swaps and exchange-traded derivatives.
Formerly of BlueMountain Solutions, Cole will be based in New York from next month and will be responsible for product, technology and operational activities. He will report to Clifford Lewis, executive vice-president and head of State Street’s e-Exchange business.
Commenting on the new hire, Lewis says: “We are very pleased to welcome Sam to the e-Exchange team.
