Banco Bisa
Banco Bisa, a subsidiary of Grupo Financiero BISA, is the most profitable bank in Bolivia. The first Bolivian company to issue an ADR on the New York Stock Exchange, Banco Bisa has assets of $723 million, loans of $572 million and deposits of $393 million. It is the only bank in Bolivia with a double-figure return on equity: it managed 11.8% in 2000.
