What are your long-term aims for Unexim?
I think that within five or 10 years Unexim Bank will (consolidate its position as) one of the biggest financial institutions in Russia and place itself among the 100 biggest banks in the world. I think we are going to increase the capital of the bank which will allow us to do projects in billions of dollars which is important for our economy.
How will you increase the capital of the bank? Will you list on the Moscow stock exchange?
Maybe. But we are thinking about (various) sources of capital - (for example) the profits which our shareholders usually agree to leave in the bank to increase capitalization. At least until this year, shareholders have agreed to this. Then, we are ready to attract additional shareholders and maybe in three or four years (think) about selling our shares on the New York exchange, or wherever, but not earlier.
New York before Moscow?
I think so. Because if we want to sell shares it should be organized in an appropriate way and without that, frankly speaking, it makes no sense.
