Shared service centres debate: The benefits of centralization


 

Jack Large (JL – chair) is a partner at J&W Associates and is an independent consultant working in cash and treasury management and payment cards. He provides consultancy services and training seminars for financial institutions, payment system companies and multinational corporations.

Andrew P Reid (APR) is the head of corporate cash management sales, UK and Ireland, at Deutsche Bank. He has worked for Deutsche for nine years, holding various managerial positions in the corporate cash management division of Deutsche’s global transaction bank in Europe and in the US.

Swati Mitra (SM) has been with Citi for 15 years and has worked in four markets – Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the UK. She is a managing director/EMEA client management industry head for technology, media, telecommunications and consumer and healthcare clients in Citi’s treasury and trade solutions team in global transaction services.

Adrian Bates (AB) is assistant treasurer, operations, in the GlaxoSmithKline treasury department based in London. He is responsible for the dealing and operations team, as well as developing the use and implementation of technology to improve processes, and has regional responsibility for banking relationships in the UK and a global overview of the company’s cash management.
