Santander is Chile’s best bank, reflecting a combination of scale, sustained financial performance and clear strategic execution. The bank remains a dominant force in the local market, ranking first in loans and second in deposits, supported by total assets of more than $70 billion and a client base closing in on five million.
Its strong positioning is underpinned by continued expansion in retail and small business segments, alongside a leading current account share and a deepening presence among SMEs, where it holds roughly 40% of the market.
Financially, Santander Chile delivered a standout year.
