In 2024, Banreservas recorded strong performance across its transaction banking business, underpinned by digital innovation and targeted improvements to core services.
Transaction volumes rose by 25% compared with the previous year, while traded volumes increased by 8.7% and commission income grew by 7.0%. The transaction banking unit referred more than 109,000 customers to the TuBanco app channel, which processed more than 4.6 million financial transactions. The shift to digital channels supported more efficient service delivery and coincided with estimated operating savings of RD$541 million.
