Megacentro has strengthened Chile’s logistics infrastructure through large-scale developments and adaptive reuse projects that enhanced operational efficiency and sustainability.
A significant milestone was the expansion of the Buenaventura logistics park in Colina over August 2024 to June 2025. The addition of 125,000 sqm to the existing 100,000 sqm created the largest industrial park in South America, at 225,000 sqm. This scale enabled faster delivery times and reduced lead times for strategic clients such as Mercado Libre, directly impacting Chile’s e-commerce ecosystem and improving last-mile efficiency.
Further south, in early 2025, Megacentro added 4,000 sqm in Concepción at its San Pedro II site, reinforcing coverage in the Biobío region.
