BTG Pactual’s real estate franchise has accelerated across Latin America despite a challenging rate environment, using scarce-capital windows to win scale projects and innovate in financing. Its performance outpaced peers last year, with lower competition enabling the bank to raise money faster and secure outsized mandates.
BTG cites more than 16 million square feet of logistics assets across the region. About 90% is located in Brazil and positions BTG as the country’s largest industrial logistics owner-operator. The bank also notes deep exposure to blue-chip e-commerce tenants and the ability to pivot quickly into development, moving beyond passive investing to lead construction, engineering and bespoke fitouts.
