Europe’s best digital bank for SMEs 2026: Revolut Business

Revolut Business has grown impressively, now accounting for 16% of the total group’s income. The bank increased business customers by 33% to 767,000 and processed $365 billion in 2025. Around 30,000 companies joined each month. In a short time, Revolut managed to convert its SME payments proposition into a broader platform for running a business.

Revolut’s original attraction for SMEs was straightforward: fast onboarding, multicurrency accounts and competitively priced foreign exchange. In 2025, the priority shifted towards making Revolut the account through which a business actually operates.

The bank measures that transition through behaviours such as tax payments, supplier payments, payroll and the use of separate currency accounts to organise working capital.
