Banreservas wins the Caribbean’s best bank for SMEs with a proposition that goes beyond lending. Through Fomenta Pymes Banreservas, the bank combines credit, current accounts, payroll services, business cards, insurance, financial education, green financing, entrepreneurship support and specialist partnerships in one platform for Dominican SMEs.
The results show the reach of that model. Since 2018, Fomenta Pymes has disbursed more than DOP285 billion ($4.85 billion) to SMEs. It has served more than 157,000 SMEs nationwide and supported more than 30,800 people through training and technical advice.
