Best investment bank: Standard Bank
Standard Bank has the standout investment banking franchise in the Namibian market. Since 2016, the bank has pursued a strategy centred on energy and infrastructure, two sectors that drive Namibia’s economic development. In 2025, the bank was active in sovereign funding, energy transition and security, and trade and logistics infrastructure.
A clear 2025 deal highlight was Standard Bank’s involvement in the financing arranged for the Government of the Republic of Namibia in respect of redeeming its $750 million Eurobond due on October 29, 2025.
