Thin has nearly 15 years of investment experience and will help augment the team’s coverage of the foreign exchange market, with a special interest in developing markets.

Before joining BBH, Thin founded Mandalay Advisors, an independent research firm that provided sovereign emerging market analysis to institutional investors. Prior to that, he was a vice president and international economist for Alliance Capital Management, covering major emerging markets in Asia and Latin America and working closely with portfolio managers to develop investment strategies.
