The result of an unprecedented three-way merger between Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank in early 2007, UniCredit Bulbank is the undisputed banking heavyweight champion in Bulgaria, boasting more than Lev7.5 billion ($5.1 billion) in assets.
