Goldman keeps quiet on new FX head
Goldman Sachs has yet to confirm who is replacing Bobby McTamaney, its co-head of global FX and emerging market trading, who is relocating from London to Tokyo to take on a new role as co-head of the bank’s pan-Asian securities business.
Sources say that Ashok Varadhan, currently Goldman’s head of US interest rate products, will assume responsibility for G10 currencies. Greg Tebbe, who most consider McTamaney’s co-head of FX but Goldman will only confirm is a managing director, will run emerging markets.
