In May, 3,000 teddy bears found their may onto the inaugural flight from New York to Bangkok as part of Operation Teddy Bear, in aid of children affected by the Asian tsunami. Collected by American students from New Jersey, the stuffed animals were presented to kids from Southern Thailand at a “Breakfast with Teddy Bears” event held in Bangkok.
