The Brazilian securities regulator, CVM, will set up a Web site where foreigners can register and obtain the necessary licenses to buy and sell stocks, bonds and derivatives. “The idea is to shorten the licensing process to 24 hours or, at most, 48,” CVM’s Roberto Mendonca told Reuters.
