More than 500 people packed into the Natural History Museum?s great hall to see HSBC win best bank (Stuart Gulliver and John Studzinski pictured below on right with Euromoney editor Peter Lee). UBS won best investment bank and Bennett Goodman of CSFB picked up the capital markets achievement award.
Bremner, sometimes tagged ?the real Opposition? for his satirical attacks on UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and his government, unleashed a succession of gags that had the audience in stitches.
