Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays, is adding to its equity derivatives team across three continents with up to 15 hires in a bid to enhance its structuring, trading and distribution network.
The fresh influx of personnel includes a number of hires from competitors such as Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale and Credit
Lyonnais. BarCap’s investor solutions team has also been bolstered with a number of arrivals, notably Xavier Garcia to cover the Iberian region, Guido Contessa to cover Italy and Mark Higgins to supervise Scandinavian business.
