Deutsche Bank has offered a platform in this area since 2000, whereas most competitors are rather fresh to the online market. The latest version has been available for the past year and with 35 currencies available has the broadest range of all the platforms viewed.
The same site is used by Deutsche Bank’s own sales and trading desk and its clients, such as fund managers, insurance groups, brokers and corporates. There are around 4,500 accounts and the bank claims that about 40% of its internal business in London is executed online.
