Celebs dumb down the euro

Forget proper arguments, who’s got the best celebs on their side? This is what the euro vote is coming to in the UK as the two camps draw up their campaigns.

The “yes” camp has lined up such economic heavyweights as agony aunt Claire Rayner, comedian Eddie Izzard (pictured above), and singer Billy Bragg. Izzard cares passionately about the UK’s role in Europe but was unable to speak to Euromoney, as he was busy playing with euros in France.
