Global Investor polled over 300 European equity fund managers and asked them to nominate their three preferred brokerage houses providing research and execution in individual countries and industry sectors. Respondents also nominated leading strategists and analysts in the region.

Four points were then awarded for a first place, three for a second and two points for a third.
