Euromoney’s best bank in Asia for 2013 is Citi, retaining the title it won last year and adding the award for the best investment bank. It is a double achievement that just five years ago would have been unthinkable, when the bank’s very survival was hanging in the balance and its Asian business, particularly in investment banking, lay in tatters.
