Fábio Nazari has been head of ECM at BTG Pactual since 2009. Previously he was head of Brazil ECM at UBS Pactual. Earlier industry roles include: senior analyst of corporate finance and M&A at Pactual; senior analyst at BBA Icatu Asset; as well as various experience as a research analyst and auditor for different institutions.
Nazari’s ECM team at BTG Pactual bank is one of the dominant players in the local Brazilian ECM markets but with 2011 being the first year that Latin American equities ex-Brazil were larger than in Brazil the bank is also looking to develop its capabilities and credibility throughout the region.
