Jackson, who joined SG in September 2009 and had previously worked at Lehman Brothers, will report to Robbert Sijbrandij, co-head of FX and commodities institutional sales in London. In this year’s Euromoney FX survey, HSBC leapt three places to fourth in terms of its market share of the UK real money market, registering a 9.75% share, up from 8.4% in 2010. Deutsche Bank maintained its leading position with a market share of 12.47% up from 10.39% the previous year.
HSBC hires SocGen’s Chris Jackson for UK real money sales
HSBC, the No. 4 FX bank with UK real money investors, has hired Chris Jackson from Societe Generale as a director in its UK real money FX sales team, a HSBC spokesperson has confirmed.
