We hear from EBS that a record number of deals were done in a minute on the platform yesterday (Thursday March 3).
At 13.33, a total of 3,685 deals across all currency pairs (we’re guessing EUR/USD was a significant contributor) were transacted.
The previous record – 2,990 deals in a minute – was set just after last month’s non-farm payrolls on February 4. It’ll be interesting to see if the new record lasts today.
