Scudamore was a spot trader on the emerging-market currency desk at RBC Capital Markets, based in London. He began his trading career at HSBC.
Meanwhile, Ed Pinto, who trades the euro for HSBC in Hong Kong, is to return to London to run Scandinavian currency trading.
