RBS appoints new head of FX spot trading

The Royal Bank of Scotland has hired James Pearson as head of FX spot trading. Pearson will be based in London and will report to Tim Carrington, global head of FX, the bank said in a statement.

Before joining RBS, Pearson had held the position of Global Head of Spot FX Trading and Emerging Markets FX Trading for EMEA at Nomura, since 2008. He had joined from Lehman Brothers, where he was Global head of G10 FX Spot Trading and Head of EMFX.
