The latest figure was achieved on March 19 when CLS settled 1,113,464 payment instructions with a gross value of $10.3 trillion, smashing the previous record of 777,596 payments with a gross value of $8.75 trillion, which was set on December 19.

CLS says that through the month of March it was settling an average daily volume of more than 600,000 instructions, with a gross value of $5.3
