CEE’s best fixed income house 2026: Erste Group Bank

Erste expanded its activity across Central and Eastern Europe’s capital markets during the review period, providing regional liquidity and widening access for international investors. Investment in electronic trading and local market expertise supported its service to clients across the region.

The bank provided liquidity across government, corporate and financial sector bonds, alongside interest rate and cross-currency swaps. In addition to euro and dollar-denominated instruments, coverage extended across CEE local currencies, including the Hungarian forint, Romanian leu, Czech koruna, Polish zloty and Serbian dinar.
