Singapore FX options trader joins Commerzbank

A Singapore-based FX options trader has joined Commerzbank in the city-state.

Charles Cernosia has moved to the German bank in Singapore as the regional head of FX flow options. Cernosia began working at Commerzbank earlier this month and reports to Peter Billington, who is the London-based global head of FX options for the German bank.

Previously, Cernosia worked for Citi in Singapore as a G10 FX options trader.

Cernosia joined Citi in April 2008. Before then, he worked for Lehman Brothers.

In February, Commerzbank launched a new single-dealer platform called Commander, which features whatthe bank claimed was the world’s first interactive structured-product portal. The platform was rolled out to clients in March.
