DNB Carnegie’s recent private banking story in the Nordics is, above all, about scale with a purpose. The decisive moment came when DNB completed its acquisition of Carnegie in March 2025, followed by the launch of the DNB Carnegie brand in May, bringing together Carnegie’s long-established Swedish wealth franchise with DNB’s broader banking balance sheet and international platform.
In Sweden and Denmark, Carnegie Private Banking became DNB Carnegie Private Banking, while DNB continued to run its own private banking business in Norway.
