Surachet aims high with Aseambankers
Chaipatamanont started his career with Bear Stearns as a financial analyst in New York before moving to Peregrine Capital, initially as an associate in the corporate finance team in New York. He then became a senior manager in Hong Kong with regional responsibilities.
In 1996, Chaipatamanont, who has a degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University, joined JPMorgan as a corporate financier. He subsequently moved to the financial institutions group in Singapore.
