Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI) is Angola’s best bank, with considerable strength across its retail and corporate banking divisions. The bank is undergoing a five-year Strategic Transformation Programme running from 2022 until 2027, which has seen investment around five key pillars: customer experience, profitability, high-performance culture, digital transformation, and stronger governance, risk and sustainability practices.
Investments stemming from these priorities have included technological modernisation, digital channels, payment methods, cybersecurity and an optimised distribution model combining physical presence with banking agents.
