HSBC enabled Bayer Cropscience to offer embedded trade credit through its e-commerce platform – transforming how agricultural buyers access working capital in a digital environment.
The deal centred on the deployment of the HSBC Receivables Finance solution within Bayer Cropscience’s first webshop in Poland, through an APl-enabled journey to exchange data and return decisions. This allowed Bayer Cropscience to offer its customers – primarily farmers and distributors – payment terms in line with their harvesting cycles, with HSBC able to support terms of up to 270 days.
