In March 2018, we announced the launch of a new publication, Euromoney Latin America. In our launch edition, we referred to the need for a publication which covers the dynamism, financial innovation and business diversity in Latin America. Euromoney had historically provided such dedicated coverage of the region through our Latin Finance publication, which was sold in March 2017 as part of a management buy-out. Since then, Latin Finance has continued to serve the region well through a combination of strong editorial content and well-executed events.
We have therefore decided to put our plans for Euromoney Latin America on hold for a period of time in recognition of the fact that our ex-colleagues at Latin Finance already serve the market well. We will of course continue to both provide coverage of the region in our existing publications. We wish the Latin Finance team every success with their continued focus on the banking and financial markets sector in the region.
