Venezuela, the third largest trade partner for the US in Latin America, has presented an economic briefing series to address new programs and reforms put into place and that will make 2006 one of the best years on record for investments. In a briefing at Venezuela’s Washington D.C. Embassy Jose Sojo (Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs) said that “economic growth figures for the first two quarters of 2005 point to Venezuela being the fastest growing economy in Latin America,” as published by VHeadline news website.
