The Euromoney Markets Awards provide the first comprehensive benchmark of how today’s markets truly function. Unlike traditional whole‑bank awards, this programme takes a specialised, technical lens, assessing excellence through the performance, connectivity, innovation and operational strength that underpin global trading and market structure.
Whether your organisation powers price discovery, liquidity formation, risk transfer, post‑trade stability, market intelligence or digital‑asset infrastructure, these awards are designed to recognise and celebrate your contribution.
What makes the Euromoney Markets Awards different?
These awards are built on a rigorous, KPI‑driven review of the systems, teams and technologies that keep markets moving. Submissions combine metrics with concise qualitative input focused on impact and innovation.
The result is a programme that offers:
- An authoritative benchmark of market excellence, grounded in measurable performance
- Recognition for the specialist functions that rarely receive public visibility despite underpinning global markets
- A platform to highlight differentiation, innovation, and best practice across all asset classes
- Independent validation from Euromoney, supported by leading industry associations including AFME, ICMA, FIX Global, ACI FMA, the World Federation of Exchanges and others
With participation from banks, brokers, venues, infrastructure providers, technology firms and digital‑assets leaders, the programme sets a new standard for excellence in global market structure.
Who should participate?
The awards are open to organisations that contribute to the functioning of modern capital markets, including:
- Banks and securities houses (markets, sales & trading, liquidity, electronic trading)
- Brokers and agency execution providers
- Market makers and liquidity providers
- Regulated exchanges, alternative trading venues, dark and block venues
- Clearing houses, settlement venues, custodians and collateral providers
- Technology, connectivity, workflow and automation providers
- Market data, analytics and benchmarking firms
- Digital‑asset brokers, trading platforms, custody, infrastructure and post‑trade solutions
If your business supports execution, connectivity, resilience, transparency, data integrity or innovation, the Markets Awards are designed to recognise your contribution.
A programme built for modern markets
The global markets landscape is evolving rapidly – through electronification, interoperability, regulatory change, digital assets, real‑time post‑trade expectations and technology‑driven innovation. The Euromoney Markets Awards respond directly to this shift by celebrating excellence in the specific functions where performance and innovation matter most.
With categories across execution excellence, market infrastructure, liquidity provision, trading technology, data and digital‑asset infrastructure, the programme reflects how today’s markets operate – and how they will evolve.
Research & entry Process
The Euromoney Markets Awards are built on a clear and efficient entry process designed to be rigorous without being burdensome. Each category requires only 2–3 simple quantitative metrics for H1 2025 and FY 2025, alongside concise written evidence describing the organisation’s strategy, performance and innovation. Submissions are integrated into our proprietary scoring framework to be analysed by our dedicated team of market specialists, followed by detailed one-on-one pitch calls, and supported by insights from senior market practitioners and our network of industry association partners.
Our evaluation combines the quantitative information provided in submissions with independent market analysis to form a holistic, KPI‑driven benchmark of excellence across global markets. All information submitted is treated confidentially and is also used – in aggregated and anonymised form – to enhance Euromoney’s market‑leading competitive intelligence, strengthening our editorial insight into how markets infrastructure, technology and execution are evolving globally.
Participants may enter as many categories as are relevant to their business, and our team is available to guide entrants through the process or discuss which categories best align with their capabilities.
